Comfy Baked Spaghetti
(Makes 8 servings)
Ingredients:
8 oz. thin spaghetti
1 lb. Ground beef
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 (26 oz.) jar three-cheese or other marinara pasta sauce
3 eggs, divided
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 (15 oz.) container ricotta cheese
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
2 cups (8 oz.) shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, brown ground beef with garlic and Italian seasoning; pour off flat. Add pasta sauce; heat. Drain spaghetti. Mix 1 egg and Parmesan cheese; toss with spaghetti. Place on bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish to form bottom layer. Mix together remaining 2 eggs, ricotta cheese, and parsley; spread evenly over spaghetti layer. Spread meat-sauce mixture evenly over ricotta layer. Bake 30 minutes. Top with mozzarella cheese; bake 10 minutes longer or until melted and golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
